Terms & Conditions
Lighting
We craft high quality light fixtures suitable for residential and commercial interiors. We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We work with American industry to make the components we cannot produce ourselves, and we hand assemble each fixture. The images displayed on our website are accurate depictions of our lighting models. However subtle variations in finish are expected in hand applied finishes, and can vary from one light to another. Minor hardware details may change as we continually improve our products.
Pricing and Payment Terms
Prices are available by quote upon request. All prices are quoted in US dollars. All quotes are valid for 45 days. Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt. Production of the product starts upon receipt of the invoice payment. Cancellations are not accepted once production has started. We accept payment through PAYPAL and American checks. A returned check fee of $100 will be charged for returned checks. Please make checks payable to: McKenzie & Keim LLC, and mail to our registered office address: 3757 Broadmoor Ave SE, Suite F, Grand Rapids, MI 49512.
Lead Times
All lead time begin upon payment. Lead times are typically 12 weeks for standard fixtures but are subject to change. Custom order lead times are handled on a case by base basis, however, they average 16 weeks from final approval and payment. Please allow approximately 1 week for shipping and handling of light fixtures. An estimated delivery date is communicated on your invoice/order. Shipping
We ship with UPS for domestic orders and DHL for international orders. Shipping fees are included and noted on the invoice and depend on the size and the weight of the product. For Non-Michigan sales, the client is responsible for filing sales tax depending on your state and city/community. Special handling requests are subject to an extra charge. International customers are responsible for any customs/duties fees incurred during the transit of their ordered items.
Returns
Our products are made to order in a handmade manner, we do not offer returns or refunds.
Damages
Damages from shipping products must be claimed within 5 business days of receipt. McKenzie & Keim LLC is not responsible for repair or replacement of damages reported after this time. All packaging must be kept when damages occur due to shipping, and photographs must be taken of the damage. Failure to preserve packaging may invalidate the terms of this guarantee, at the discretion of McKenzie & Keim LLC.
Care & Maintenance
All products should be cared for with instructions applicable to that specific product. Failure to do so may void product warranty.
Warranty
McKenzie & Keim takes pride in the quality and craftsmanship of its products. We work with American industry to make the components we cannot produce ourselves, and we hand assemble each fixture. We offer a one year guarantee on the craftsmanship of goods sold to original purchasers through an authorized reseller or distributor, or directly from Mckenzie & Keim. Damages that occur due to improper installation, misuse, exterior exposure, mishandling, abuse, negligence or normal wear and tear are not covered. Use of bulbs not provided by McKenzie & Keim are not guaranteed and may cause damage to the fixture. Subtle variations in finish are expected in hand treated finishes, and are not guaranteed. All expenditures resulting from the return and exchange of goods covered under this guarantee are solely the responsibility of the purchaser. McKenzie & Keim has sole discretion when evaluating to repair or replace damaged goods claimed under this guarantee. No reimbursements shall be made for ancillary charges such as installation.
