Where are your products made?

Our products are made and assembled to order in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Some individual components that we cannot make ourselves are produced by skilled artisans that specialize and excel in their trade.

Do you offer trade discounts?

Professional interior designers and architects are eligible to receive a trade discount upon registration of a trade account. We also offer discounts on multiple fixture orders. Please provide us with a resale certificate along with your firms’ contact information to gain access to our trade pricing.

How do I purchase replacement bulbs?

All of our fixtures built prior to 2022 were designed to use replaceable LED bulbs. Though it is unlikely you will need them any time soon, we are happy to offer factory replacements at cost upon request. McKenzie & Keim fixtures built in 2022 or after feature integrated LEDS with durable extended lifespans of 50,000 hours or longer. These LEDs will last decades under normal use. If you have any questions about the light sources in our fixtures, please feel free to contact us.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales to trade members can be made tax free upon the registration of a trade account. Trade members will need to supply their business contact information, office address, shipping address and resale certificates in order to register an account. All other sales will be subject to the applicable sales tax due for their respective delivery and/or billing address.

Do you customize your products?

We love working on custom light fixtures and luminaries. Contact us to discuss your requirements and concept. Please be aware that custom work frequently involves lead times that are longer than those that offered on our production models.  All custom projects are quoted on a case by case basis. We can help you with custom fixtures from sketch to installation.

How long are your lead times?

Our lead times are generally 12 weeks for standard fixtures and 16 weeks for custom fixtures. Expedited lead times are granted on a case by case basis and can be accommodated by request and the application of a rush fee. Certain larger or specialized custom fixtures may require longer lead times. Please allow approximately 1 week for shipping and handling of light fixtures. The estimated delivery date is indicated on your invoice/order. Lead times begin upon payment (and final approval for custom orders). How do I clean and care for my product?

Dust fixtures with a clean cloth or non-abrasive duster.  Scrubbing with a slightly damp cloth can be performed when necessary.  Do not use abrasive or acidic household cleaning products. For the best maintenance of the product, protect it from excessive heat, moisture, grease and dirt.

Do You Accept Returns?

Due to the hand-made nature of our product, we do not accept returns.
